We are seeking a skilled welder proficient in performing tasks on steel. If you are unable to demonstrate proficiency in this area, you will not pass the screening process.
ResponsibilitiesPerform stick, flux core, and MIG welding.Weld and fabricate various types of steel, including aluminum, hot roll, and cold roll.Conduct out-of-position welding, such as overhead, vertical, and horizontal.Utilize blueprints for accurate welding and fabrication.Use tape measures, gauges, squares, and other measuring tools to ensure precision.
Essential SkillsProficiency in welding and fabrication.Experience with MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in using measuring tools for accuracy.Capability in out-of-position welding.
Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a custom weld shop is highly desirable.TIG welding experience is a major plus, but not required.

Work Environment
This position is in a custom fabrication and welding shop catering to clients' needs. The environment is not climate controlled and may be dusty and loud at times. It is a small shop setting, fostering close collaboration among team members.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
