Job Description
This role involves the engineering and manufacturing of steam generation and gas turbine co-generation equipment. The position requires the layout, fitting, and welding from blueprints, covering a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping built to A.S.M.E. boiler codes and weld procedures, as well as meeting customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Layout, fit, and weld from blueprints a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping.Perform code piping, fit, and weld interconnecting runs for assembly in the field.Code welding of boiler tubes to pressure parts.Conduct TIG and MIG welding work, depending on skills and level of expertise.Essential Skills
At least 3 years of experience in TIG and/or Flux Core welding.Ability to pass a 6G weld test.Experience with pipe welding.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.Strongly prefer a Tech School Degree in Welding.Experience in TIG welding on pipe.Why Work Here?
