Job Title: Fabricator/AssemblerJob Description

A local manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Assembler to join our team on the 1st shift. This role involves working in a dynamic and growing environment, where you will contribute to the assembly and fabrication of metal products.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize computer systems to track production orders efficiently.Measure and mark steel accurately for machine operations.Read and interpret production documents to ensure accuracy in assembly.Operate drill presses and saws safely and effectively.Perform mechanical assembly using both hand and power tools.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Essential SkillsProficiency with hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and understand blueprints and production documents.Experience with tape measures for precise measurements.Skill in operating drill presses and saws.Mechanical assembly and fabrication expertise.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabrication and mechanical assembly.Familiarity with machine operation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
