Description
Is medium‑sized welding and fabrication shop serving major equipment manufacturers in the construction and mining industries. We are seeking an experienced Fabricator with strong fitting and MIG welding skills to join our 1st‑shift team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, can interpret complex prints, and enjoys building heavy‑duty components used by industry leaders such as P&H Mining, Caterpillar, Oshkosh, and Manitowoc.
Job Description:
MIG weld on steel up to 1\" thick using proper techniques to ensure structural integrity and quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols with accuracy.
Lay out, fit, and assemble material according to specifications and tolerances.
Tack‑weld assemblies to prepare work for entry‑level welders to complete.
Operate fabrication equipment such as cutting tools, grinders, torches, and overhead cranes.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with shop standards and customer requirements.
Maintain a safe and organized work area following all shop safety procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
