Job Description
As a Fabricator, you will spend the majority of your day welding plates to beams and columns that will be used in large structures across the country. You will primarily work with Flux-core and MIG welding techniques on rails and stairs.
ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) on structural components.Ensure precision in welding on beams and columns for large-scale structures.Interpret and work from welding blueprints and weld symbols.Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in MIG Welding and FLUX CORED ARC WELDING (FCAW) or equivalent schooling.Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and weld symbols.Proficiency in using a tape measure for accurate measurements.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in structural welding and fabrication.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a large steel mill environment on a day shift schedule from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM on Friday, totaling 49 mandatory hours per week. The facility specializes in the fabrication of structural and miscellaneous steel on a grand scale, where precision and quality are paramount. The dress code is appropriate for a steel mill, ensuring safety and functionality.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
