**Metal Fabricator/ Machine Operator - Terrell, Tx** **$20.75/hr - 1st Shift** **Job Description** Join a leading global company specializing in advanced insulation and building envelope solutions. As a Metal Fabrication Technician, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing metal panels and panes for vents, skylights, and smoke vents. This position requires expertise in machine operation and fabrication, ensuring quality production in a dynamic environment. **Responsibilities** + Safely and securely move required materials in and out of various work centers including press brake, shearing, sawing, punching, drilling, notching, grinding, trimming, and painting, using pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts if licensed. + Properly set up equipment/machinery ensuring all safety devices and measures are active and in place, and verify equipment operation. + Check that all gauges, stops, and other components are functioning properly to meet quality control and design requirements. + Position metal components against dimensional stops, secure with clamping systems, and perform designated operations. + Conduct required quality control checks on each component to ensure compliance with design and drawing specifications through visual and dimensional examinations. + Ensure finished products are correctly counted, marked, or tagged with order numbers and identifying marks as required. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing and machine operation. + Proficiency in fabrication techniques and machine operation. + Ability to interpret blueprints and conduct quality control checks. + Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in plastics manufacturing and plastic molding. + Fitting and welder spot skills are advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Become a part of a globally recognized leader in insulation solutions, where you'll have the opportunity to grow your career in a supportive and innovative environment.
