Job Title: Fabrication WelderJob Description

Join our team as a Fabrication Welder where you will play a crucial role in operating a sit-down forklift and efficiently loading and unloading trailers. You will also be responsible for packing products within the warehouse environment.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to load and unload trailers.Pack and prepare products for shipment within the warehouse.Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory management.Perform Mig and Tig welding tasks as required.Conduct welding inspections to ensure quality standards are met.Assemble components and products as needed.Utilize a tape measure for precise measurements.
Essential SkillsProven forklift experience.Previous warehouse experience.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with packing and inventory management.Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.Proficiency in Mig and Tig welding techniques.

Work Environment

The work environment includes operating within a warehouse with safety as a top priority. You will be on your feet all day, using equipment such as forklifts and welding tools. The shift runs from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
