**Job Title: Fabrication Technician** **Job Description** The Fabrication Technician role requires strong oral and written communication skills, effective teamwork, and the ability to follow organizational policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will meet productivity standards, ensure attendance and punctuality, and demonstrate dependability by completing tasks on time or providing alternative plans when necessary. **Responsibilities** + Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, obtaining and providing clarification as needed. + Write clearly and informatively, edit work for spelling and grammar, and present numerical data effectively. + Balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views, and contribute to building a positive team spirit. + Follow policies and procedures, complete administrative tasks correctly and on time, and support the organization's goals and values. + Prioritize and plan work activities efficiently, set goals and objectives, and plan for additional resources. + Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, apply feedback to improve performance, and monitor own work to ensure quality. + Meet productivity standards, complete work in a timely manner, and strive to increase productivity. + Observe safety and security procedures, determine appropriate actions beyond guidelines, and use equipment and materials properly. + Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality, ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent, and arrive at meetings and appointments on time. + Follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for actions, keep commitments, and notify appropriate person with alternate plans if needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience with CNC machine operating. + Ability to use measurement tools, assemble components, and document requirements. + Proficiency in reading blueprints and work instructions. + Experience with hand tools, mills, drills, and manual CNC operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED; or 2-4 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Technical schooling in machining or welding is a plus. + Ability to read and understand operation manuals, work instructions, design documents, and policies. + Strong basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, area, circumference, and volume. + Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. **Why Work Here?** This role offers the opportunity to join a fast-growing company and gain valuable medical device experience. Some tasks may involve repetitive actions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
