**Job Title: Fabricator Technician | $21+HR | 1st Shift**
Job Description
As a Fabricator Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and testing copper busbars and inductors according to exact blueprints. You will perform metalworking processes such as cutting, threading, drilling, bending, brazing, soldering, and forming. Additionally, you will build complex assemblies and windings in line with engineering drawings and conduct air and water pressure testing to verify structural integrity and quality. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools is essential, as is the ability to maintain accurate material usage records. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics, as well as performing basic cleaning and maintenance on assembled units.
Responsibilities
+ Fabricate, assemble, and test copper busbars and inductors to exact blueprint specifications.
+ Perform metalworking processes including cutting, threading, drilling, bending, brazing, soldering, and forming.
+ Lay out, prepare, and build complex assemblies and windings in accordance with engineering drawings and standard shop practices.
+ Conduct air and water pressure testing on components to verify structural integrity and quality.
+ Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers to ensure product conformance and accuracy.
+ Maintain accurate material usage records in accordance with the Bill of Materials (BOM).
+ Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
+ Perform basic cleaning, finishing, and maintenance of assembled units before final testing or shipment.
+ Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and hand trucks.
Essential Skills
+ Fabrication and assembly skills.
+ Experience with cutting tools, threading, drilling, bending, brazing, and forming.
+ Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Testing circuits, understanding hydraulics and pneumatics, and electrical wiring.
+ Use of tape measure, forklift, overhead crane, and hand truck.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1+ year of experience in welding, plumbing, mechanical assembly, or construction.
+ Experience with hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery preferred.
+ Familiarity with electromechanical assembly or copper work is highly desirable.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
+ Ability to lift and handle materials up to (X lbs) and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Work Environment
This is a direct placement role with working hours from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of extended hours until 3:30 or 4:30 PM and some Saturdays. The facility is large and bustling with activity, with a focus on machine building. It is a busy, fast-paced industrial environment, providing ample opportunities to engage with cutting-edge induction heating and melting equipment.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $58240.00/yr.
