**Position Summary** Program, schedule, set up, train operators, operate, and tend multiple types of fabrication equipment. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Assist with all fabrication activities, prioritizing worker safety at all times + Oversee fabrication staff and support daily production operations + Operate fabrication equipment including, but not limited to: + CNC plasma table + CNC press brake + Mill, drill, lathe + Welding robots + Train fabrication staff on safe and productive machine operation + Consistently achieve productivity goals for self and fabrication team + Measure and report the effectiveness of fabrication activities and employee performance + Program CNC machines, including plasma tables and press brakes + Schedule production orders to efficiently supply parts to other departments and locations + Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions + Partner with management to address attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters + Assist with implementing new methods, processes, and operational improvements + Continuously identify and implement process improvements + Make recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency + Adhere to Company Code of Conduct + Demonstrate professionalism and tact when working with internal and external customers, suppliers, and coworkers **Required Skills and Qualifications** + Experience programming CNC equipment + High level of computer literacy for data entry and retrieval + ERP system operation experience + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to be covered under company insurance + Valid driver’s license + High school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Skills and Qualifications** + Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred but not required **Working Conditions** + Work may be performed indoors or outdoors depending on fabrication needs + Exposure to variable temperatures depending on season + Tasks may involve moderate to heavy physical labor + Regular walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting required **Physical Requirements** + Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling 25–80 pounds + Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces + Ability to see and respond to hazardous situations + Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds and working at heights above 42 inches + Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl for 8–12 hours per day + Ability to work in extreme weather conditions + Ability to properly wear personal protective equipment in production areas
