**Job Title:** Fabrication Associate **Location:** Tampa, FL **Pay:** $18/hr **Schedule:** + Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM + Overtime available + 30-minute unpaid lunch **Position Type:** Temp-to-Perm **About the Role:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fabrication Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machinery used in pipe fabrication and a strong focus on safety and quality. This role is fast-paced and requires teamwork, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude. **Responsibilities:** + Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard + Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) + Maintain organized work areas and supplies + Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently + Set up, operate, and maintain machinery for pipe fabrication + Measure, cut, thread, and bevel pipe using band saws, torches, and Landis machines + Perform quality checks using gauges and measuring tools + Inspect and maintain forklift equipment **Required Qualifications:** + 6–8 months recent experience with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutting, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders + Mechanical background or hands-on experience + Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math for measurements + Knowledge of safe work practices in a warehouse/pipe yard environment + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Good oral and written communication skills + Basic computer skills for automated machinery **Work Environment:** + Non-climate controlled If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
