In this role, you will know and apply all relevant safety policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with OSHA, client, and customer standards. You will perform complex welding assignments independently, and set up and operate welding equipment for various tasks. Additionally, you will apply shop mathematics to execute layouts and plan work, and operate oxyacetylene torches and plasma cutters.
ResponsibilitiesInterpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.Perform welding, cutting, and assembly of metal components.Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and effectively.Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the fabrication process.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project goals.Essential SkillsExperience in metal fabrication and welding (MIG, TIG, Stick preferred).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.Familiarity with fabrication tools and safety procedures.Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment.Proficiency in steel fabrication, shear/brake press, and iron work.2+ years of fabrication experience or a 2-year technical degree in welding.Why Work Here?The company is known for its good core values and commitment to its employees. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
