Fabric Receiver – Furniture Manufacturing
Location: Newton, NC
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule:
This position rotates every 4 weeks between two shifts:
Shift A (Weeks 1–4): Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Shift B (Weeks 5–8): Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Note: Any Saturday shift will run 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Fabric Receiver to support a high-volume furniture manufacturing environment. The role involves receiving and organizing fabric materials essential for production.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming fabric shipments
Organize, store, and label materials accurately
Maintain inventory records
Communicate with production teams about material needs
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling preferred
Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Strong attention to detail
Reliable attendance and ability to work rotating 4-week schedules
