Job Title: F Shift Maintenance TechnicianJob Description

The F Shift Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production and process support equipment within the plant. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain equipment in production and process support equipment for the plant.Locate and replace defective components in a timely manner.Collaborate with other mechanics on complex repairs and technical assistance.Troubleshoot motor control centers, relays, solenoids, and electrical drives.Set up packaging equipment, including cartoners.Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, BRC, and food safety requirements.Understand the function of all production and process support equipment.Handle SPA responsibilities for EHS protocols.Request parts for equipment repair following the request process.Follow spare equipment schedule for needed repairs.Teach, coach, and mentor line operators in preventive maintenance processes.Support the Production Team Leader on production tasks.Maintain housekeeping standards in your work area and maintenance shop.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting conveyor systems, AC/DC motors, and pneumatic systems.Industrial maintenance and repair skills.Strong mechanical skills.Basic understanding of electrical systems, including HDMI's and fault codes.Good communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.Experience in preventive maintenance and blueprint reading.Industrial maintenance technician experience.OSHA certified Forklift Operator is a plus.Ability to use basic hand tools such as drill and grinder.Ownership and proficiency with Presto Approved VOM meter digital multi-meter.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled environment, often around equipment heated to 300°F+. Employees must be able to walk or stand for the duration of their shift, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday-Tuesday and Saturday-Tuesday, with opportunities for overtime.
