Position Responsibilities:
Effectively lead teams and multi-disciplined support staff to positively impact safety, quality, delivery, and costDrive continuous improvement, standard work, and best practices within the Production SystemDrive for Safety improvements, defection reduction, and foreign object debris (FOD) prevention to ensure Product SafetyDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsSupport affordability by driving unit hour reductions and innovation implementation
Manages employees and other managers performing activities within manufacturing disciplinesDeploy Lean principles in accordance to the Boeing Production SystemConveys organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of organizational goals and monitors performance metricsProactively communicates with leadership team, peers (e.g., fellow senior managers) and customersTeam with Quality on inspection approach, quality initiatives, corrective and preventative actions, and DCMA engagement/strategyProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Creates a culture of continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience working as a leader or manager3+ years of experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and people on production and development programs3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)3+ years of experience leading cross-functional and Lean+ projects3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environmentExperience with schedule and budget management, stakeholder communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and requirements are metPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higherDirect functional experience within Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Engineering, or Supply ChainDeep production program experience across driving improvements across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and People on production and development programsDirect applicable knowledge of Production Systems development and “Start Right" methodologiesEffective change leader; Ability to build an environment of inclusion, transparency and trustDemonstrated ability to build relationships and rally a team in challenging work environmentsConflict of Interest:
