**Job Title: Extrusion Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Extrusion Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of production runs. Your responsibilities will include maintaining quality control and production control records, packaging and processing finished products according to standard procedures, and operating equipment related to obtaining, packaging, processing, weighing, and storing finished products. You will also weigh and process sub-standard products and assist in training operators on equipment use. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and attendance at training sessions, including those on operations, safety, and forklift inspections, are essential. You will consistently perform work safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain all records pertinent to a successful production run, including quality control and production control records.
+ Package and process all finished products in compliance with standard procedures.
+ Remove finished products from the production area to designated staging or storage areas.
+ Operate all equipment related to obtaining, packaging, processing, weighing, and storing finished products.
+ Weigh and process all sub-standard products generated by a production run.
+ Assist and train operators in the use of equipment.
+ Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and attend required training sessions, including operations, safety, and forklift inspections.
+ Consistently perform work safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and orderly area at all times.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operation
+ General labor proficiency
+ Plastic manufacturing maintenance experience
+ High voltage experience
+ Preventive maintenance on a variety of machines
+ PLC experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility
+ Experience with repair, schematic interpretation, industrial fabrication, and mechanical troubleshooting
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Knowledge of control panels and robotics automation
+ Experience in troubleshooting extrusion machines and processes

**Work Environment**
The role is fully on-site in Woodland, California, within a non-climate-controlled facility. Work involves new 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am, rotating through a schedule of 3 days on and 4 days on each week. Temporary workers should be available all 7 days based on the rotating schedule.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodland, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
