Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clean Room Extrusion Operator to join our team. This position offers opportunities to work on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in a clean room environment regulated by FDA standards. As an Extrusion Operator Level II, you will contribute to the production of life-saving products over a 6-month contract with the potential for permanent hire.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a rubber extrusion machine in a clean room environment.Feed silicone and rubber materials into the machine.Cut products to size according to work instructions.Package and prepare products for shipment.Perform machine changeovers and follow instructions to prepare for tubing production.Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.Perform quality checks and visual inspections on products.Document inspection results and ensure compliance with FDA and GMP standards.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years experience as a machine operator.Ability to read a tape measure accurately.Willingness to work Saturdays if required.Capability to follow detailed work instructions to meet production goals.Comfortable wearing a clean room suit, hair net, and beard net if applicable.Physical ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for the entire shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience with injection mold machines.Experience working in sterile clean room environments.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment consists of 50 employees across three shifts, utilizing nine state-of-the-art automated extrusion machines. The facility is extremely clean, temperature-controlled, and adheres to GMP/FDA requirements. Employees will be provided with lockers and will suit up in a sterile gown before each shift. The dress code requires hairnets, beard nets if applicable, and prohibits fake nails, makeup, piercings, or jewelry. No food or drink is allowed in the clean room area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
