Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Extrusion Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating machinery in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The position requires flexibility to work night shifts, with potential training during day shifts.

Responsibilities

Operate an extrusion machine, ensuring efficient startup, operation, and shutdown.Prioritize safety in all operations, adhering to company guidelines.Work collaboratively within a team to maintain production quality.Conduct quality checks on machines and materials to meet specifications.Identify and manage raw materials for production processes.Operate a 60-ton propane forklift, with training and certification provided.Maintain a strong work ethic with consistent attendance and a positive attitude.

Essential Skills

Experience with extrusion machines and machine operation.Familiarity with production and packaging processes.Ability to operate and manage machinery safely and efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous forklift experience is preferred, but training is available.Experience in manufacturing is advantageous, although not mandatory.

Work Environment

This is a night shift position from 4 PM to 4 AM, with training potentially occurring during day shifts from 4 AM to 4 PM. The schedule alternates between 36-hour and 48-hour weeks, including some weekends. The position includes 12-hour shifts with 10 hours of regular time and 2 hours of overtime each day. The environment is safety-focused with proper training and equipment provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
