**Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator** Job Description The position requires the ability to set up and operate a material blender system to ensure a steady supply to the production line. The role involves starting up and operating a material weigh hopper, as well as the vacuum loading system, including its control functions. Additionally, it requires expertise in the operation, function, and cleaning of the dust control systems. Responsibilities + Set up and operate the material blender system to maintain production line supply. + Start up and operate the material weigh hopper. + Operate and manage the vacuum loading system, including vacuum control. + Ensure proper operation, function, and cleaning of dust control systems. + Ensure all products meet or exceed minimum quality standards for packaged finished goods. + Perform quality checks, such as part weight, proper form, lid fit, sheet thickness, water leak test, and CPET oven test, at specified intervals and record results accurately. + Comply with all food safety regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices and sliver control procedures. Essential Skills + Experience with machine operation, particularly in setting up and operating material blender systems. + Knowledge of starting up and operating material weigh hoppers and vacuum loading systems. + Familiarity with dust control systems and their maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Attention to detail to ensure product quality. + Ability to perform quality checks and accurately record results. + Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Work may be heat-related when dealing with extruder dies.
