External Analytical Operations Support Specialist
We are looking for an External Analytical Operations Support Specialist who is proactive, adaptable, and committed to excellence to join our Analytical Lifecycle Expertise & Integration team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
You will provide operational and analytical support to Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) across the lifecycle of UCB products. You are going to partner closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality in analytical processes.
Who you will work withYou will collaborate with UCB Analytical Program teams, External Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance, as well as CMO partners worldwide. Together, you will ensure analytical excellence and inspection readiness.
What you will doProvide expert advice and operational support for global analytical methods lifecycleReview analytical aspects in deviations and change controls at CMOsSupport investigations for OOS/OOT/OOE and complex analytical issuesCoordinate cross-laboratory studies and validation campaignsEnsure compliance with GMP requirements and inspection readinessManage analytical documentation access for CMOsReview of annual stability protocols and tables/reports, results evaluation, trending reports, and documentation in EDMS System Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fieldStrong knowledge of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, ELISA, Bioassay, etc.)Solid understanding of GMP, regulatory requirements, and Data Integrity principlesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and influence internal and external stakeholdersStrong communication skills in English
