About the Role
You will play a critical role in accelerating the global success of Korean advertisers by leveraging Netflix’s innovative advertising solutions. By forging and nurturing strategic partnerships with leading Korean brands, you will empower them to reach international audiences and achieve their business objectives.
This is a highly strategic and cross-functional position that demands exceptional stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally. You will be expected to navigate complex dynamics, communicate fluently in English, and confidently engage and influence senior executives across prominent Korean companies.
Key responsibilities:
1. Global Sales Strategy & Execution
Drive the development and execution of high-impact sales strategies to catalyze the global success of Korean advertisers, explicitly leveraging Netflix’s unmatched global reach and premium content portfolio.
2. Strategic Client & Agency Partnership Cultivation
Establish, cultivate, and monetize deep, enduring relationships with key decision-makers across Korea's top advertisers and their agencies, securing long-term partnerships and significantly driving sustainable revenue growth.
3. C-level Negotiation & Solutioning
Lead high-stakes strategic discussions and complex negotiations with C-level executives and senior leadership to meticulously identify core business needs and deliver bespoke, transformative advertising solutions.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Champion seamless collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to guarantee flawless campaign execution and architect scalable internal systems and processes that efficiently support global advertising initiatives.
5. Thought Leadership & Ecosystem Advocacy
Serve as a powerful Thought Leader and advocate for Netflix Korea, representing the company at major industry forums, championing the unique value proposition of our advertising solutions, and actively contributing to the overall growth of the Korean advertising export ecosystem.
6. Pipeline Management & Revenue Accountability
Build and rigorously manage a robust sales pipeline of prospective and existing clients, consistently exceeding ambitious quarterly and annual revenue targets through proactive opportunity management and forecasting.
We're looking for:
15+ years of experience in advertising sales, ideally with a focus on global or export business.
Fluency in Korean and English (written and spoken) is required
Strong problem-solving ability and experience working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
Strategic planning and prospecting skills, with a track record of delivering results
Deep understanding of client priorities, performance metrics, and how to align solutions to meet their needs
Highly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customers
Proven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multitask, make decisions and manage at entrepreneurial speed
Confident presentation skills and executive presence
