Export Logistics Coordinator
Job Title: Export Logistics CoordinatorJob Description

The Export Documentation Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of export documentation to support international shipments. This position supports global supply chain operations by coordinating with internal teams, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with international trade laws and customer requirements.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and export declarations.Ensure compliance with U.S. and international export regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, AES filing).Coordinate with logistics providers, customs brokers, and internal departments to facilitate timely and compliant shipments.Maintain accurate records of export transactions and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve documentation-related delays or discrepancies.Support internal audits and assist in implementing corrective actions related to export documentation.Collaborate with supply chain, customer service, and compliance teams to align documentation with contractual and regulatory requirements.Stay current on changes in export regulations and documentation standards across key markets.
Essential Skills2+ years of experience in export and international logistics.Good customer service skills, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving.Analytical skills and proficiency in SAP and reporting.Strong knowledge of Incoterms, export controls, and international shipping practices.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in export documentation, international logistics, or trade compliance.Proficiency in ERP systems and export documentation platforms.Experience with SAP and E2Open Global Trade Management.Familiarity with HTS classification and ECCN determination.
Work Environment

The position is based in a brand new corporate building in KCK, which is very modern and open. The work environment follows a business casual dress code and offers a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working remotely.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.67 - $35.67/hr.
