Job Summary Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Caregiver to join our team of compassionate caregivers in the Kennesaw, Georgia area. This position will require an individual that is reliable, patient, and has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in providing sensitive and compassionate care in a one-on-one basis. Compensation & Benefits This is a part-time, hourly position with an hourly rate of $14 per hour, paid weekly. Responsibilities • Provide in-home and/or community care services as assigned • Assist with personal care, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, housekeeping, and other activities of daily living • Provide companionship • Monitor safety of the individuals in the home •  Medication reminders according to plan of individual’s care • Maintain accurate records of activities • Participate in individual’s care plan meetings and staff meetings • Follow established practices and procedures while maintaining safe working environment at all times • Maintain communication and work cooperatively with other staff Requirements • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age • Must have at least 3 years of experience working a caregiver role • Must possess current CPR and First Aid certification • Must be certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) and/or be able to pass a criminal background check • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs • Must have reliable form of transportation • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Knowledge of proper body mechanics • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions • Computer proficiency and communications skills EEOC Statement Always Best Care Senior Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a work environment that is free from discrimination or harassment.
