Job Description & Summary

The PwC GIOC based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is PwC’s global intelligence APAC regional hub. We are a multi-disciplinary team leveraging world class research and intelligence capabilities. Our team comprises more than 350 dedicated professionals across the globe that speak more than 40 languages. GIOC has helped many global clients vet their third parties, identify parties with conflicts of interests, and provide forensics support where required.

The Associate at the Global Intelligence Operations Centre (GIOC) will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing information, and summarizing findings related to reputational due diligence. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of intelligence reporting and providing operational support to various teams within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong research, analysis, and summarization skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to details

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities 

Using GIOC project research methodology, conduct research and review of reputational due diligence-related information in English and/or other local languages, as applicable, on various online platforms and intelligence databases. Training on project research methodology will be delivered upon onboarding. Analyse relevant information for reporting. Summarise research findings in English into PwC branded reports or assigned report templates. Juggle multiple report assignments at a single time, depending on workload. Assist in preparation of proposals, administrative tasks, risk management checks etc

 

​Key Requirements

Fresh graduate or a recent graduate with less than 12 months of work experience in the areas of reputational/integrity/enhanced due diligence 

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, International Relations, Political Science or a related field 

Skilled in research, analysis, and summarization 

Fluent in English (reading, writing and conversational); additional language proficiencies are required, with Mandarin and Arabic being prioritized 

Strong English language skills for use in preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials.  

Good team player 

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint 

Strong global acumen
