Key ResponsibilitiesTogether with your team, you will ensure that our guests enjoy a culinary experience of the highest standard. Our hotel's gastronomic offerings are characterised by their sophisticated, regional and highly creative cuisine. We rely on the finest mountain produce and the enthusiasm of our staff.
Your main tasks include, among other things:\nSupport in creating contemporary and innovative concepts for the entire kitchen area.\nSupport in managing and organising all aspects of the kitchen departments to ensure optimal profit (main kitchen & fine dining, stewarding, and staff restaurant).\nCompliance with management and company guidelines.\nResponsibility for hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with HACCP guidelines.\nMonitoring the functionality of all appliances and equipment in the kitchen\nOrdering all food purchases\nSupporting the introduction of new concepts and helping to design our kitchen renovation\nRegular quality controls\nRecruitment and staff development for the entire kitchen team\nPlanning and implementing regular F&B promotions together with our Director of F&B\nPlanning and organising creative pop-up culinary events\nNetworking within the Kempinski Group\nMenu creation based on current trends and organisation of tastings\nCost control and pricing of all dishes\nBudgeting and monthly forecasts\nCollaboration and co-design of our franchise kitchens in cooperation with the respective head chefs\nParticipation in department head meetings on behalf of the executive chef\n
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nCompleted vocational training as a chef \nSeveral years of professional experience in a similar position in the 5-star hotel industry or upscale gastronomy\nOpenness to new ideas and a high degree of innovation \nStrong leadership skills in managing multiple employees\nFlexibility and sense of responsibility\nTeam-oriented approach to work, hands-on mentality, friendly and warm manner\nVery good product knowledge and a creative approach to work\nContinuous willingness to learn and desire to develop oneself and others\nGood knowledge of German and English\n
