Executive Senior Manager, Revenue Controller
**What's The Role** The **Executive Senior Mangaer, Revenue Controller** is responsible for overseeing and managing the integrity of revenue recognition, billing accuracy, and revenue assurance processes within BTC. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, optimizes revenue streams, prevents leakage, and provides accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. **What You'll Need** **Revenue Management & Control** + Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle, from service activation to billing and collections. + Maintain accurate revenue recognition in line with **ASC 606** and **IFRS 15** and company policies. + Monitor fixed and mobile (prepaid and postpaid) subscriber revenues and ensure correct allocation to accounting periods. + Partner with commercial teams to evaluate the revenue impact of new tariffs, packages, or promotions. + Develop financial models to evaluate the revenue impact of new products, tariffs, partnerships, and promotions. + Reconcile billed revenue and usage data with the general ledger and financial reports **Revenue Assurance & Risk Management** + Lead revenue assurance processes to identify, analyze, and prevent revenue leakages across billing, rating, interconnect, and partner settlement systems. + Implement and maintain robust controls to verify the accuracy of subscriber data, tariffs, usage, and invoicing. + Collaborate with IT, operations, and billing teams to ensure end-to-end process integrity across the revenue chain. + Analyze usage trends and system reconciliations to detect anomalies, fraud, or misreporting. + Review mediation, rating, and charging systems to ensure completeness and accuracy of network usage data. + Detect anomalies, fraud, or misreporting through data analysis and system reconciliations. + Prepare and present revenue assurance dashboards to senior management, highlighting risks and corrective actions. + Provide oversight of regulatory compliance related to customer billing and reporting. **Financial Reporting & Analysis** + Prepare and review monthly revenue reports, forecasts, and variance analyses. + Provide data-driven insights on ARPU, churn impact, acquisition costs, and service profitability. + Reconcile actual billing and usage data with the general ledger. + Support budgeting, forecasting, and investment appraisals across product lines. **Compliance & Audit** + Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. + Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing required schedules and explanations. + Maintain strong internal controls over revenue processes. **Business Partnering** + Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to review contracts, assess profitability, and support negotiations with corporate and wholesale clients. + Support negotiations with corporate, wholesale, and strategic partners. + Deliver insights to executive leadership that guide both operational and strategic decisions + Drive contract governance and investment appraisals. **What You'll Need** **Education & Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. + Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) OR a MBA degree highly preferred. **Experience** + Minimum 5–7 years of experience in revenue accounting, financial control, or revenue assurance—preferably in the telecommunications industry. + Proven track record of managing large data sets and complex billing processes. **Skills & Competencies** + Proven skills in forecasting and
