Executive Director of Cyber Human Defense Strategy, Execution and Executive Reporting - Senior Lead Information Security Analyst

The Executive Director of Cyber Human Defense Strategy, Execution and Reporting will be a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to protect the organization from human-centric cyber threats. This individual will lead all aspects of the program, from strategic planning and implementation to operational execution, regulatory filings, and executive reporting. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned cybersecurity leader with a deep understanding of how to mitigate risks associated with the human element of cybersecurity.

In this role, you will:

Strategy & Planning:

Develop and own the multi-year strategy for the Cyber Human Defense program, aligning with the broader cybersecurity and business objectives.Identify and assess human-based cyber risks and vulnerabilities across the enterprise.Design and implement a roadmap of initiatives to mature the organization's security posture against social engineering, phishing, insider threats, and other human-targeted attacks.

Execution & Operations:

Lead the execution of all Cyber Human Defense initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Oversee the development and implementation of security awareness, training, and simulation programs.Manage the operational teams responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to human-based security events.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, and Communications, to embed security best practices into the company culture.

Reporting & Metrics:

Establish and maintain a robust framework for measuring the effectiveness of the Cyber Human Defense program.Develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.Provide regular, clear, and actionable reporting on the state of human-centric risk and the impact of defense initiatives.Oversee the generation and submission of all required regulatory reporting related to cybersecurity and human-centric risk.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on program leadership.Proven track record of developing and executing successful cybersecurity strategies in a large, complex organization.Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing enterprise-wide projects.

Desired Qualifications:

Deep expertise in the principles of "human defense," including security awareness, behavioral science, and insider risk management.Strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape and common attack vectors.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Experience with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and COBIT, and familiarity with relevant regulatory reporting requirements.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$191,000.00 - $305,000.00
