Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty. The Executive Director is responsible for providing administrative direction and oversight for the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) programs to enable the person served to receive services (primarily) in community-based settings. The VNA provides home health, home care, as well as hospice care to those we serve in Western Pennsylvania. This person builds collaboration among the community resources and partners, regulatory agencies, management, staff, and providers to adjoin resources in support of improving the program’s services while providing strategic direction for the VNA programs. The incumbent facilitates a team-oriented environment and leads the delivery of a comprehensive program to ensure quality services. Qualifications Executive Director requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in a related health care field, or a non-related degree with direct health care experience. Master’s Degree preferred. + Five or more years of progressive management experience in healthcare administration . + Knowledge of health care delivery practices, reimbursement streams associated with related programs and have demonstrated the capability to develop and lead new initiatives. + Knowledge of chronic care/hospice issues and best practices. + Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
