Executive Director, Cross Product Margin - Product Manager

Markets provides solutions to clients with the means to manage their exposure through various derivatives, lending and cash products across Structured Products Group, Rates, Equities, Foreign Exchange, Municipal Products Group, Credit Sales & Trading.

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director to join our Product Management team. The Cross Product Margin Owner is key to the development of a markets wide service that will work with various support partners.  This role will be working with senior managers, tech partners, attorneys and many other functional areas.


In this role, you will:

Lead highly complex initiatives for financial, client and risk management within Securities Product ManagementIdentify the origination, modeling, portfolio management and all risk management including compliance and operational riskLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex initiatives that require an in-depth evaluationComplete work in accordance with all risk management, compliance and business process expectationsProvide vision, direction and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutionsMake decisions requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures and compliance requirementsConduct due diligence and portfolio administration as necessary and provide research on relevant industry trendsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Securities Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Experience in margin management and/or collateral management.  Exposure to various jurisdictions and regulatory requirements.Understanding of house margin process, credit calculations, market risk calculations and cross asset benefits.Ability to present to senior managers and/or customers.Product and/or Project Management experience including organizing multi-stakeholder prioritization, planning, scope documentation and articulating requirements including use cases and prototype solutions.Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office products, technical prowess for prototyping and data analysisExperience in product delivery covering Equities, Fixed Income, and/or Derivatives asset classes (options, Delta 1 Swaps, Futures.)Experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence, Jira and Jira AlignAbility to quickly understand the current platform and align with future roadmap for the productsExecute product delivery for few key initiatives, building partnerships with support functions including technology, operations, finance, credit, market risk, legal, compliance, and back-office teamsDrive solutions that directly benefit the business revenue, control environment and/or efficiency

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
