OpenText is seeking a highly experienced and trusted Executive Assistant to provide strategic and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer. This role is critical to the success of the CEO and the broader executive leadership team, requiring exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate seamlessly in a fast-paced, global environment.
The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and confident, someone who anticipates needs, manages complexity with ease, and serves as a true thought partner to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel planning across multiple time zonesAct as a trusted gatekeeper, managing priorities, communications, and competing demands with sound judgment and discretionPrepare and coordinate materials for Board of Directors meetings, executive leadership meetings, investor-related activities, and key internal and external engagementsDraft, review, and edit correspondence, presentations, and briefing materials on behalf of the CEOPartner closely with the CEO’s Chief of Staff, Executive Leadership Team, and other Executive Assistants to ensure alignment and follow-throughSupport planning and execution of high-profile meetings, events, and off-sites, both virtual and in-personManage confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and integrityAnticipate needs and proactively resolve issues to ensure the CEO is optimally prepared and focused on top prioritiesContinuously refine processes and ways of working to improve efficiency and effectivenessQualifications
5-8 years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably within a global, publicly traded organizationProven ability to operate with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism in highly confidential situationsExceptional organizational, strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives, Customers, Board members, and other key internal/external stakeholdersHigh level of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Concur (SAP)The ability to be office-based in Waterloo or Toronto is required

Salary Range: 80,000 - 110,000; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
