20th Television is looking for an executive assistant to support 2 Vice Presidents in the Comedy Development department. This is a high volume, fast-paced desk, so the perfect candidate will have superior organizational and communication skills, is highly motivated and detail-oriented, and can remain calm under pressure. Job responsibilities include standard assistant duties, including rolling calls, scheduling meetings and notes, and reviewing and weighing in on material.
Responsibilities:
Assist with various administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, rolling calls, and processing expense reportsWatch cuts and read incoming scripts to share notesUpdate grids with staff lists and production calendarsCreate clip selections from dailies for internal viewingTrack incoming material and staffing submissionsCollect information for timely internal memosBe familiar with all internal department points of contact, as well as their counterparts at the Network or StreamerTake notes on meetings and callsBasic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant on a high-volume desk in entertainmentAble to present information in a confident, well-articulated, creative and engaging mannerProven ability to multitask and work independently with little direction and follow up, in a team environment, with changing prioritiesLiteracy in Microsoft Office Suite and AirtableExcellent written and oral communication skillsCritical thinking & problem-solving skillsA positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks to contribute to the overall success of the teamPreferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working at a studio, network, or agencyRelevant coursework in film/television Passion for learning and eagerness to be a team playerThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
