**Job Title:** **Excavator Operator – $30-35/hr (Weekly Pay)**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled **Excavator Operator** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment and ensuring efficient excavation on various job sites. The work schedule typically consists of **10-12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday.**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Safely and efficiently operate excavators for various earthmoving tasks.
+ Understand project scope and execute excavation work with precision.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and elevation measurements.
+ Monitor grade, compaction, and trenching quality, making necessary adjustments.
+ Follow OSHA trench safety guidelines and ensure proper protective measures.
+ Conduct routine equipment inspections, fueling, and greasing.
+ Identify and report mechanical or equipment issues promptly.
+ Maintain clean work areas and prevent dirt tracking onto roads.
+ Work effectively under different weather conditions to meet project deadlines.
+ Coordinate with team members and supervisors for smooth workflow.
**Essential Skills & Qualifications:**
+ **5+ years of experience** operating heavy equipment, specifically excavators and dozers
+ Strong understanding of **grading, trenching, and compaction** techniques.
+ Ability to read blueprints and check elevations accurately.
+ Knowledge of **basic math and measurements** for excavation tasks.
+ Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
**Additional Skills & Experience:**
+ Experience with backhoes, dozers, and other earthmoving equipment.
+ Ability to manage job site challenges and adapt to changing conditions.
+ Strong problem-solving skills in handling unforeseen worksite obstacles.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
