**Job Description: Janitorial Supervisor** Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30-11pm **Overview:** Join our dynamic team as a Janitorial Supervisor at a leading hospital in Menlo Park, California. You will have opportunities for ongoing education and training, ensuring your professional growth while making a meaningful impact on patient satisfaction and service standards. **Responsibilities:** + Supervise and evaluate staff performance, attendance, and work habits. + Document and recommend actions regarding employee performance, retention, and promotion. + Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety, and sanitation regulations. + Plan, schedule, and direct staff across hospital and satellite facilities. + Train staff in cleaning, disinfecting techniques, and use of equipment. + Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards. + Act as a liaison between staff and upper management. + Participate in hiring processes and perform daily patient satisfaction rounds. **Essential Skills:** + Strong supervisory and customer service skills. + Proficiency in floor care, housekeeping, and janitorial duties. + Ability to train and develop staff. + Management and union experience preferred. **Work Environment:** + Onsite at healthcare facilities, primarily hospitals. + Business formal attire required. **Job Type:** + Contract to Hire Join us and contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike! **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $41.00/hr.
