As a housekeeper, you will perform essential housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the facility. Your tasks will include sweeping, mopping, washing, dusting, and polishing various surfaces such as walls, floors, furniture, fixtures, and appliances. You will also prepare discharged patient areas for occupancy, sanitize beds, mattresses, furnishings, bathrooms, and showers, and restock paper supplies to ensure a perfect environment for the next patient. Additionally, you will follow isolation cleaning procedures according to infection control standards and utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment effectively.

Work EnvironmentWork in a rehabilitation hospital with approximately 100 employees, operating on the 1st shift for 40 hours per week with flexible start times. Employees are required to work every other weekend and wear black or navy blue scrubs.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
