**Job Title: EVS Aide/Janitor - Mission Viejo $24/hr.** **Job Description** As an EVS Aide, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms and common areas in a hospital setting. You will be trained on proper floor care techniques, including stripping, buffing, and waxing. **Work Environment:** 2nd shift, 2pm-10:30pm, Includes weekends. **Responsibilities** + Clean rooms after patient discharges, including bathrooms. + Maintain cleanliness in patient's rooms, including trash removal, cleaning linen, and mopping floors. + Perform laundry tasks as needed. + Work collaboratively with nurses and other hospital staff in a hospital environment. + Clean common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways. + Read through and complete work orders such as trash removal and spill requests. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in housekeeping and cleaning tasks. + Ability to perform janitorial duties, including mopping and sweeping. + Strong customer service skills. + Proficient English speaking skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1 year of high-volume experience in settings such as hospitals, hotels, schools, universities, office buildings, sports arenas, or amusement parks preferred but not required. **Why Work Here?** Join one of the largest health systems in the country, offering a supportive and dynamic work environment with over 70 hospitals in the network. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
