Job Description
The EVS Aide will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways within a hospital setting. The role includes tasks such as trash removal, cleaning linen, mopping floors, and laundry. Training will be provided for proper floor care techniques including stripping, buffing, and waxing.
ResponsibilitiesClean rooms after patient discharges and maintain patient rooms.Handle trash removal and cleaning linen.Mop floors and perform laundry duties.Work closely with nurses in a hospital environment dealing with biohazards such as blood, urine, and vomit.Clean common areas like lobbies, elevators, and hallways.Read and complete work orders such as trash removal or spill requests.Essential SkillsProficiency in janitorial duties, housekeeping, cleaning, and custodial tasks.Experience in sanitizing and environmental service.Ability to perform floor care including mopping, sweeping, buffing, and waxing.Strong customer service skills.Fluency in English.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of high-volume experience in environments like hospitals, hotels, schools, universities, office buildings, sports arenas, or amusement parks preferred but not required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work is scheduled during the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with rotating weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mission Viejo, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
