**Job Title: Environmental Services Aide** **Job Description** Join our state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. **Responsibilities** + Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows daily or as scheduled. + Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replace paper and soap products in restrooms, clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets. + Operate various types of equipment and machinery including vacuums and floor scrubbers. + Collect and remove trash from the building each day. + Responsible for stocking linens throughout the hospital. + Adhere to all infection control policies and procedures. Report safety hazards to supervisor. + Perform all other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience cleaning in some magnitude, open to industry. + Experience standing, bending, and squatting for the entire duration of a shift. + Must have a positive attitude and be good at working with patients who are rehabbing. + Knowledge of healthcare industry and medical terminology. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Janitorial or custodial experience preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer tuition assistance and reimbursement, an expansive benefit package, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
