They are responsible for the events physical security and safety of the organization or other tangible assets. **What You’ll Do:** + Provide formal direction to onsite security personnel and support staff. + Lead performance evaluations, training, and career development efforts. + Mentor team members, assign operational priorities, and coordinate cross-training initiatives. + Oversee all access and visitor management functions across a dynamic tech campus. + Partner with HSE and Facilities to implement cohesive life safety systems (e.g., CPR, first aid readiness, evacuation protocols). + Collaborate with the Meeting and Events team to proactively integrate emergency response planning, crowd management, and site-specific risk assessments for events. + Ensure operational alignment with client policies, industry regulations, and client expectations. + Lead incident reporting and documentation, including security assessments and post-event debriefs. + Act as the main point of contact between CBRE, the client, and external service providers. + Facilitate cross-functional discussions with building services and event teams to identify emerging needs. + Provide strategic insight on evolving risks and implement tech-forward, scalable solutions. + Approve budgets for campus and event security operations; manage staffing and equipment costs. **What You’ll Need** + Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent mix of education and experience + 5–8 years experience in security operations, event risk management, or safety leadership + Ability to lead complex teams across disciplines and drive consensus in a high-paced environment + Strong communication and decision-making skills under pressure + G-Suite familiarity; ability to analyze security data and develop action plans + Comfortable with physical demands including walking, standing, lifting, and equipment handling **Why CBRE?** When you join CBRE you will have the support and resources of a global firm where an entrepreneurial mentality is encouraged. The minimum salary for the Events Safety & Security Manager position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Events Safety & Security Sr Manager position is $125,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
