**About the Role:**
The Events Manager will play a crucial role in driving traffic, sales, and overall success through carefully planned and completed events and partnerships for the retail district and park at RaDD in San Diego, CA. This role requires a blend of strong organizational, leadership, and marketing skills, along with the ability to establish rapport with a variety of collaborators. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and passionate about creating memorable and impactful experiences for the community. This person will support the overarching marketing strategy and goals of the property.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Plan, coordinate, and complete marketing events and partnerships, including the common areas.
+ Develop and implement a calendar of events to drive foot traffic and sales to the property to support existing and future retailers.
+ Work with internal partners to collaborate on cross promotional events and support retailers.
+ Work with external partners to develop mutually beneficial relationships that enhance budgets and expand the RaDD brand withing the San Diego market.
+ Ensure all events are completed strategically, on time, and within budget.
+ Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other service providers to ensure smooth event operations.
+ Prepare and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure all financial records are accurately maintained.
+ Secure necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for events as needed.
+ Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and partnerships.
+ Coordinate with the Retail Marketing Manager to create promotional materials such as flyers, posters, social media posts, and email campaigns.
+ Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external collaborators, including tenants, vendors, sponsors, and community partners.
+ Collaborate and act as liaison with strategic partner for venue sales at Eve.
+ Communicate event plans, expectations, and progress to all relevant parties.
+ Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the planning and execution of events.
+ Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing reports for management, detailing event performance, expenses, and revenue generated.
+ Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and identify areas for improvement.
+ Provide recommendations for future events based on data and feedback.
+ Supervise event staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
+ Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure high-quality event execution.
+ Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
+ Manage event and alternative revenue opportunities from beginning to end, including contract execution, invoicing, collections, budget management, reporting, and renewals.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or as needed to support the overall success of the property.

+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
+ Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Events Manager position is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Events Manager position is $90,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
