Job Title: Event Program Manager / Event Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Event Program Manager / Event Project Manager to support the planning and execution of Compass Connect Experience (CCX) — a multi-day, executive-facing virtual conference for key enterprise customers. This role involves working closely with executive leadership and coordinating logistics to ensure seamless execution of the event.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with the internal Program Manager to own logistics, coordination, and operational execution.Ensure a seamless experience for customers, speakers, and internal stakeholders.Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously during live events.Provide post-event support, including wrap-up and documentation.Coordinate with executive-level speakers and anticipate issues before they arise.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in virtual event planning with detail-oriented executive presence.5+ years of experience supporting virtual or hybrid conferences, ideally multi-day.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.Strong project management and customer service skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience running complex virtual events.Calm and solutions-oriented mindset during live events.Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.Experience with large enterprise events is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite presence for three days a week in a large and fast-paced professional office setting. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour work week and no overtime expected. The contractor will need to provide their own equipment and software.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
