We are seeking for an experience and passionate Event Planning Manager to plan and execute memorable meetings, conferences, and social events in our award-winning resort destination. The Event Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating, detailing and planning all aspects of assigned groups social events, form initial planning through on-site execution. Event Planning Manager Responsibilities + Act as the main point of contact for assigned group and social events. + Coordinate event details including agendas, room setups, menus, audiovisual needs, and special requests. + Collaborate closely with Sales, Catering, Banquets, Culinary, AV, and Operations teams. + Lead pre-event meetings and communicate event requirements clearly to internal teams + Manage on site event execution, ensuring service standards and client expectations are exceeded. + Maintain records and ensure timely follow-up and post-event communication. **Qualifications:** + A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment + Refined verbal and written communication skills + A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred + Must be proficient in general computer knowledge + Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast-paced environment + Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program + Prefer candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training **Primary Location:** US-NM-Bernalillo **Organization:** Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa **Pay Basis:** Yearly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Catering/Event Planning **Req ID:** BER000864 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
