THE ROLE
The Event Coordinator for Petersen Events Center and Victory Heights Arena will play a key role in delivering high-quality event experiences that align with operational goals and brand standards.
This individual will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned private events and internal client meetings and events held within the facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct on-site tours with clients
Primary point of contact for assigned meetings and events
Coordinate outside service needs with food and beverage partner, & other vendors
Lead and coordinate pre-con meetings with clients
Create event documentation, including floor plans, event riders, and operational details.
Serve as primary liaison between client and facility departments ensuring accurate setup and implementation of necessary changes
Acts as Manager on Duty for scheduled event ensuring successful event execution
Prepare event estimates and invoices for assigned events
Assist with special projects and major events as needed (graduations, concerts, etc.)
Performs various administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a related area of study preferred
1-3 years professional related work experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic technology
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Must be highly motivated, self-directed, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds
