The Europe Seeds Transport & Warehousing Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain logistics operations, focusing on transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks across the region. This role ensures operational excellence, cost efficiency with financial control, HSEQ compliance, continuous improvement and sustainable practices while maintaining strong relationships with logistics partners and acting as a key interface with internal stakeholders (Finance, Quality, Customer Planning, Order Management & Logistics Operations). The position combines supplier management, network optimization, financial governance, and strategic coordination at Regional level.
Accountabilities
3PL, 4PL and Warehousing Governance
Manage relationships with logistics service providersDevelop and monitor KPIs for service providersEnsure contract compliance and service level agreementsLead regular performance reviews with partnersCoordinate logistics activities between multiple stakeholdersNetwork Design and Footprint Optimization
Analyze and optimize distribution network configurationEvaluate facility locations and transportation routesImplement network improvement initiativesConduct regular network performance assessmentsDevelop contingency plans for network disruptionsCapacity Planning and Decisions
Forecast storage and transportation requirementsPlan and allocate resources based on seasonal demandsOptimize warehouse space utilizationManage peak season capacity planningCoordinate with demand planning teamsWarehouse Operations and Inventory Control
Oversee hub warehouse operationsImplement inventory management best practices Monitor stock accuracy and availabilityEnsure proper material handling proceduresMaintain quality control standardsCost Management and Procurement Partnership
