The Regional Quality Assurance Manager for Europe exists to ensure that Quality Assurance is strategically embedded across the entire Field crops Seeds Production and Supply lifecycle within the region.  The role safeguards product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer confidence by translating global principles into effective regional executions.  It provides leadership oversight to ensure quality governance, risk mitigation, and performance improvement are consistently aligned with Europe P&S business objectives.

Accountabilities

The Regional Quality Assurance Manager ensures effective governance and execution of Quality Assurance across Europe Field Crops Seeds Production & Supply operations. The role translates global quality direction intro structured regional implementation, integrates quality across the full lifecycle from R&D handoff to commercial supply, and leads the Regional QA organization to delivers consistent, risk-based, and performance-driven outcomes.

Define and Deploy Regional QA Strategy: Establish and implement the Europe QA roadmap aligned with global direction and regional P&S priorities.Lead End-to-End Lifecycle Quality Integration: Ensure structured QA governance from R&D handoff through production, conditioning, processing, storage, and supply operations.Govern Risk, Compliance & Quality Framework Deployment: Oversee regional risk management, non-conformity processes, CAPA, PVR, audits, and regulatory compliance.Lead and Develop the Regional QA Organization: Provide direction, performance management, and capability development for Regional Quality Experts.Drive Performance and Measurable Improvement: Define, track, and report critical QA KPIs for the region that demonstrate impact on cost, risk reduction, service performance, and customer satisfaction, including reduction of QC costs, write-offs, and late-stage quality surprises.Embed Cross-Functional Quality Partnership: Partner with Europe R&D, SPR, P&S LT, Planning, Production Operations, Quality Supply, and Quality Testing to integrate quality into operational decision-making, and create a single, trusted source of truth to support per-crop production and supply decisions.Enable Digital & Process Harmonization: Ensure effective use of digital systems and promote harmonized quality practices across Europe.

QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Seed Technology, Quality Management, or related discipline.Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory frameworks (ISTA, OECD, ISO where applicable).A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Seeds Operation, Quality Assurance, or Seed Production with knowledge of Field crops (Corn, Sunflower, Wheat, Oilseed Rape, Barley etc.,)Fluent in English.Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.Experience in data analysis, process improvement, and quality control methodologies.Familiarity with global digitalization initiativesSolid understanding of seed production, conditioning, processing, and supply chain operations.Familiarity with digital quality systems such as SAP and Reliance.
