We are seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to play an instrumental role in the build out of our EU 3PL network. As a Procurement Specialist, you will support a team of Senior Category managers, You will drive key sourcing activities, ensuring equipment and service availability to meet business goals while minimizing risk. You will be the trusted advisor in strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. In this role will manage internal and external relationships across multiple teams We are seeking a professional with procurement experience to strategically source products and services as part of our 3PL Category Procurement Team. The position will work and partner with multiple teams to develop and execute category sourcing strategies and processes, deliver savings and improve productivity across the category. Key job responsibilities · Lead sourcing initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the decision making process of the category roadmap with senior leadership. · Drive commercial relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective of achieving optimal cost and performance; . Negotiate key contractual terms ensuring compliance to Amazon standards, policies and regulations; · Support supplier performance management; · Coordinate and collaborate with operational teams to deploy and manage the implementation of your defined strategies. . Foster innovation on tools and processes in order to streamline your execution Key job responsibilities . Drive end to end sourcing initiatives, from RFI to contract negotiation . Drive cost comparisons and analysis . Negotiate costs, contracts and key commercial terms . We are finding ways to move faster and more efficiently than ever before to deliver upgrades to capacity across Amazon's Customer Fulfillment network. This group is part of the Global Procurement Organization and key stakeholders are various teams within Network Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Legal and others. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or BS degree - Experience working with cross-functional teams - Experience in a procurement organization performing vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and bidding Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree, or Master's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing - Experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes - Experience in the data/BI space Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
