Full Time Contract Title: ETL Developer Location: Remote Philippines Length of Contract: 10 Months + Position Description: Review data and ETL requirements and work with DBA to validate or extend data model based on new requirements. If appropriate, create DDL for new objects, attributes, etc. Review with DBA and Data Architect as required. Provide detailed design documents as per SDLC requirements. Create ETL workflows and objects as required and provide unit and system testing activities and documentation. Work with IT to migrate code between test, UAT and production Responsibilities: + Establish secure connections between data sources using Matillion and Snowflake under appropriate security protocols. + Design, develop, and implement ETL jobs using Matillion ETL to extract data from various applications through Application Programming Interface (API) based data pipelines and data extracts. + Cleanse, transform, and validate data to ensure its accuracy and consistency. + Design and implement data quality checks and error handling routines within ETL jobs. + Document ETL processes thoroughly for future reference and maintenance. + Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, transformation, and loading. + Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Snowflake and Matillion ETL technologies. + Utilize Fivetran to create additional data connections and ETL programs. Qualifications: + 3+ years' experience in data engineering, API connectivity and ETL. + Experience working with Snowflake, Matillion and Fivetran for data integration and transformation. + Experience working with business and Information Technology users to elicit requirements and deliver solutions through data connections, source to target mapping and data profiling as required. + Skilled in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and iterative development + Aptitude for researching data connections and API functions and parameters for new applications to integrate into the enterprise. + Ability to interpret data requirements and communicate recommendations. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
