ETL / Application Developer
**ETL Developer** **Hybrid - Boston, MA** **Long term contract** **Rate $71.42/hr (benefits available for W2 consultants)** Our client is seeking an experienced ETL developer with strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL and data migration initiatives along with analytical skills to transform business requirements into technical solutions. ETL developer is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing data pipelines and data migration. This position reports directly to the Director of Information Technology Development. **Description of Duties** + Design and build scalable ETL pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS and/or custom scripts. + Perform data extraction, transform data into usable formats based on business and technical requirements and loading into target database to support application requirements. + Collaborate with vendor teams to perform data quality assurance, ensuring successful data migration and loading into the future state database. + Monitor, test, and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure high availability and reliability + Optimize data pipeline performance and manage batch and real-time processes. + Document data flows, mappings, and technical specifications. + Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards. **Qualifications:** + 5+ years of experience with SSIS, Azure SQL and Azure Data services (Data Factory, Storage). + Proficiency in SQL Server, Azure SQL, T_SQL + Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) + Knowledge of database recovery tactics and security protocols + Understanding of best engineering practices in agile software development + Experience with code reviews, version control (branching), task management, documentation, and testing + Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interface effectively between business groups and IT teams + Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities + Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or related field ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
