We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Etching Technician to support our production team by performing chemical etching processes to create ultra-precise features on metal components. If you enjoy working with your hands, following process instructions, and being part of a collaborative team, this role is for you. **Shift: 2nd shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am, Monday - Friday** **Pay: $18 - $21/hr** **Benefits: 401k, vision, health, dental** **Responsibilities** + Operate chemical etching tanks and equipment to process metal materials to customer specifications. + Follow job travelers and special instructions for each work order. + Measure product conformance using calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools. + Record all measurements and production data clearly and accurately. + Notify your lead of any quality concerns or questionable materials. + Monitor chemical solution conditions and perform minor maintenance as needed. + Keep your workstation clean and follow all safety protocols. + Complete daily tasks independently and stay on schedule. + Work as part of a production team to meet daily and weekly output goals. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and write. + Legible penmanship. + Basic math skills. + Mechanical inclination. + Knowledge retention. + Ability to multitask. + Time management. + Attention to detail. + Thoroughness. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing role preferred, but not required. + Ability to read basic job instructions and measurement tools (calipers, rulers, etc.). + Attention to detail and focus on product quality. + Comfort working around chemicals and willingness to wear required PPE. + Dependability and ability to work with minimal supervision. + Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. **Why Work Here?** Experience competitive pay with bonus opportunities tied to company and individual performance.
