Seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a well-established team in commercial construction!

Estimator Details:

Direct Hire position$80,000.00 to $105,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.Understands the scope of work to bid.Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors and vendors.Develop project plans.Review and assess cost estimates.Prepare very detailed cost estimates reports.Conduct regular risk assessments.Understand contractual terms and conditions.Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.Develop and implement transfer procedures for passing off complex projects to other members of the project management team that provides for a smooth and seamless transition for the customers or clients.Responsible for assisting in developing manpower requirements for the projects being estimatedResponsible for ensuring that all Company policies, procedures and safety rules are being followed at all times

Estimator Qualifications:

Associates degree in Construction Management or related field.Three years of construction experience.Must have the ability to organize and prioritize workMust be accurate with all work, including computer data entry.Must be able to perform mathematical calculations as required for preparation of reports.Must be able to sufficiently communicate, both verbally and in writing, technical and business information.Work will be performed in the office most of the time.Occasional trips to job sites, meetings, and other locations may be requiredTravel to conferences and meetings may be required.
