A top‑tier civil and site construction firm is adding a Civil Construction Estimator to its preconstruction team as part of continued growth. Your Impact

In this role, you’ll be trusted to:

Build accurate, well‑structured estimates for civil and site development projectsPerform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and engineering documentsEvaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals, ensuring scope coverage and competitivenessDevelop pricing strategies for hard‑bid and negotiated workPrepare bid submissions and support post‑bid clarificationsPrice and manage change orders throughout constructionLeverage HCSS to support estimating, cost tracking, and bid managementCollaborate with project managers, engineers, field teams, and leadership during preconstructionWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline5+ years of experience estimating civil or site construction workProficiency with HCSS estimating toolsStrong grasp of unit pricing, scopes, bid packaging, and cost controlsDetail‑oriented, highly analytical, and effective communicatorExperience That Sets You ApartHeavy civil, land development, utilities, roadway, or infrastructure project experienceInvolvement with preconstruction services and proposal developmentFamiliarity with RFIs, cost modeling, and constructability reviewsWhy Join This TeamElite compensation package: $170,000–$220,000+Direct influence on large‑scale, visible civil construction projectsEstablished company with a consistent, long‑term backlogInvestment in estimating technology and professional developmentCollaborative environment with strong operational and leadership support

This is a Permanent position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $88.00 - $90.00/hr.
